The Texas Trails Bassmasters held our first tournament of the 2009 – 2010 season at LakeTyler on November 15. Fifteen members fished this event. New member Daniel Roach took first place, Don Hampton capured second, and Albert Jordan began his drive to "three-peat" as Angler of the Year by finishing third.

Anglers are awarded points based on weight and finish position, starting with 100 for 1st place, 99 for second, etc. Fifty points are awarded for anglers who enter a tournament but do not weigh a fish. Penalties are assessed for dead fish and late weigh-in.
