September 6, 2007 - Officers for 2007 - 2008 are Lew Conder, President; Don Hampton, VP/Tournament Director; Mark Johnson, Secretary/Treasurer; Jeff Davis, Webmaster/Publicity Chairman; and Kelly Perry, Youth Chairman.
December 14, 2007 - Starting at the January 2008 tournament there will be an optional lunker pot. Entry fee for this pot will be $5 per tournament, and the total cumulative amount will be paid to the eligible angler who weighs the heaviest bass over 7 pounds. Anglers must have paid the entry fee for all tournaments included in the pot to be eligible. After one lunker pot is paid out another will begin at the next tournament.
April 5, 2008 - Texas Trails Bassmasters held our 17th semi-annual Open Tournament on Lake Fork on April 5, 2008. Over the years this has proved to be a fun tournament with a great payout and lots of raffle prizes. Look for the 18th semi-annual coming this fall.
Approximately 75 anglers fished this event. Ten places were paid for big stringer and three for big bass. Here are the results.
